Soon after that, other provincial cities followed in the footsteps of Warsaw. From year to year, more and more Volunteer Centers were added to the map of Poland. These institutions, wanting to strengthen and expand their activities, established the Network of Volunteer Centers. What are these Centers and in what cities do they operate? You will find the answer in the find your center section.

In 2012, the Volunteer Center Association in Warsaw launched a project aimed at supporting the development of volunteering in Poland by standardizing the activities of 45 member organizations of the Network. More about the project "Standardization of the activities of the Volunteer Centers Network as a chance for the development of volunteering in Poland" co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund.

The creation of the first Volunteer Mediation Offices was a response to the large increase in non-governmental organizations. Thanks to this activity, volunteers go to selected institutions and individuals, bringing disinterested help and contributing to the extension of the scope of their services and providing support to those in need.

It must be remembered that today's volunteer not only helps people with disabilities, but is also a great organizer of various events, project coordinator, lawyer, IT specialist, and career advisor. The development of non-governmental organizations and the increasing favor of state institutions means that every volunteer will find an "offer" where he will be able to use his skills and interests.
