Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech
At the terminal keep a look out for the Travel Talk sign, as we pick you up from the airport and take you to our hotel. Gather round in the hotel lobby at 7:00pm to meet your tour guide and the other tour members Listen in for a fast and informal meeting with your guide including registration, a short brief about the adventures ahead and some country info. Optional group dinner is available to get to know your travel mates better before you head off.

Day 2: Marrakech, Menara Gardens, Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast we visit the relaxing Menara Gardens featuring many orchards of palm, olive and fruit trees. We then drive to Ait Ben Haddou to discover one of the most authentic and well-maintained villages in the Atlas region. This berber village, well-known for its Kasbah, has been used in many Hollywood films.

Day 3: Ait Ben Haddou, Quarzazate, Merzauga
Today we drive to the village of Merzouga, famous for magestic sand dunes and a true depiction of the desert landscapes Morocco is known for. We have the option to enjoy a 4x4 drive or camel ride through the dunes. On the way to Merzauga, we make a short visit to Taourirt Kasbah in Quarzazate and a leisurely walk in Todgha Gorges.

Day 4: Merzauga, Fes
After breakfast we drive to the cultural heart of Morocco, Fes. This city is the third largest in the country and best known for its labrinyth of souks and leather tanneries - the smell will not be forgotten!

Day 5: Fes
Today we set out to discover the amazing city of Fes including Bab Bouloud gate, Bou Inania Medersa, Moulay Idriss Mauseloum, Andalusian, Quaraouiyine Mosque, Najjarine Square, spice markets, terina medersa, the surroundings of Karaouine Medina and Mellah. We spend another night in Fes and while nightlife is scarce here, cafes stay open late and there's ample opportunity to enjoy delicious Moroccan cuisine.

Day 6: Fes, Rabat, Casablanca
We depart for Rabat, the political, administrative and capital of Morocco. The city is set in a rich, amber-coloured landscape, combining ancient history with modern Moroccan culture. After an orientation tour around the Royal Palace, Chellah Ruins, Hassan Tower, Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Oudayas Gardens, we depart for the lively city of Casablanca.

Day 7: Casablanca, Marrakech
After breakfast we visit the Mohamed V Square, the Anfa Residential Quarter and the impressive Mosque of Hassan II. After an insightful morning, we depart for Marrakech. This fascinating city is the point where the Arab culture of the cities meet the Berber culture of the mountain villages. Today we also visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Dar Si Said Museum and Djemaa el-Fna Square - a chaotic area packed with story tellers, snake charmers, acrobats, musicians and folk dancers.

Day 8: Marrakech
Our trip will end after check-out (11:00am) say goodbye to our new friends over breakfast, and we bid you safe travels.
