Individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of many and crave to Explore India with our team! The problem is that the local population consists mainly of poor villagers, Tribal settlements and fishermen and their lack of awareness in protecting their environment and finding sustainable livelihood.

We are trying solve this by:-

A) Women Empowerment
B) Tribal and Rural Welfare
C) Promoting rural tourism to give sustainable livelihood to people of the region.
D) We are focusing on non-formal education, training, income generating and employment creation.

Our Objective is to create awareness in adventure and rural tourism which would improve the overall quality of life of the rural poor. These problems in rural areas can be addressed if we individually recognize our role as a global citizen and take steps to make a difference!

Role of a Volunteer

Implementation of projects intending enhancement of rural prosperity to promote,plan,undertake,develop,maintain and support adventure projects/schemes aimed at all round development, Creation of Employment Oppurtunities,generation of awareness, organization and improvement in the quality of life of the people in this rural area through voluntary action.
To work towards making people both ecologically and socially conscious by promoting eco-tourism which would focus on local culture, wilderness adventures.
Help in promoting responsible eco tourism that minimize the adverse effects of traditional tourism on the natural environment and enhance the cultural integrity of local people.

We have chosen this approach as it would give direct employment opportunity in a totally new sector. It also seeks to promote local culture and craft based tourism for sustainable and integrated rural development. Its aim is to improve the local people’s quality of life, by creating more livelihood options, while preserving and allowing the community to develop their local culture.

Accommodation

Location is Thrimurthy Dam in Dhali village near Udumalpet in Tamil Nadu. Extremely scenic with unlimited options for a wide range of Adventure Sports. Our Nature Friendly campsite is on the water front. Activities are held for Nature Lovers, Schools, Colleges, Corporates etc, round the year. We conduct the following activities Kayaking Canoeing Wind Surfing Ski Board Sailing Coracle Water Trampoline Obstacle Course Rope Activities Scuba Diving Discover Scuba – Confined Water & Open Water Diver Course Para Gliding Parasailing Trekking Paint Ball & Wood Ball Horse Riding Mountain Terrain Biking (MTB)

About the Host

Our team consists of Members of Indian Parachuting Federation affiliated to Aero Club of India. Social Activists and members of WWF, American Kite Fliers Association and UN Volunteering. Our member team of Adventure and experts, consist of qualified Microlight Pilots, Hot Air Balloon Pilots, Paramotor Fliers, water Sports Specialists, Sky Diving Instructors, OBL specialists etc. Safe equipment and qualified expertise makes our track record strong.
