Birth Support Volunteer
Accompany refugee women when they give birth. Provide refugee women with support and comfort at a challenging time when they often find themselves alone in the hospital or giving birth at home. We will provide ongoing mentoring for all birth support volunteers and the opportunity to attend a support group to share experiences and ask further questions.

This is truly a unique opportunity for future midwives, healthcare professionals and anyone who wants to work with births and refugees. We are looking for committed volunteers who are willing to be a much-needed support figure for refugee women living in Liverpool. Please note that, due to the nature of the work involved, this position is restricted to female only applicants. It will be necessary for you to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.


Casework Volunteer
We are looking for a Casework Volunteer to support us with a range of different tasks. The role would be suitable for someone with an interest in refugee and asylum issues, someone studying in a relevant field or someone who has experience in the sector. As a small charity we rely on the work of volunteers and in return can offer valuable experience.


Drop-in Volunteer
We are a women only charity that supports refugee and asylum seeking women, including pre and post natal women, victims of sexual violence, trafficking, domestic slavery and human rights abuses. We run drop-ins at different locations in Liverpool. This is a safe place for women to come, eat, socialise and most importantly relax. We are looking for Drop-in Volunteers to support us with a range of different tasks during these sessions, to ensure their smooth running. As a small charity we rely on the work of volunteers and in return can offer valuable and varied experience, within a passionate team.


Emotional Support Volunteer
We are a women only charity that supports refugee and asylum seeking women, including pre and post natal women, victims of sexual violence, trafficking, domestic slavery and human rights abuses. As a small charity we rely on the work of volunteers and in return can offer valuable experience. We are looking for Emotional Support Volunteers to provide emotional support to service users at our outreach services or through home visits. The role would be suitable for someone studying Social Work or Counselling or someone who has experience in the sector.
