George’s watersports is well-established business that settled operations 1989 in the small graphical harbour of Latchi.

Our Business is a self-drive boat rental company. That gives opportunity for tourists to rent and drive a boat. We are an expanding buisness that is present also on the web and social media.

We are seeking to employ trainees/seasonal workers for this season (or longer) to cope with our busy high season period of mid- June, July, August to mid-September.


Location

Latchi harbour is located on the West Coast of the island of Cyprus and lies on a beautiful coastline and a panoramic peninsula. George’s watersports offers self-drive speedboats for hire, a great opportunity for couples, friends and family to add a difference and excitement on their vacations.

Our company offers people the opportunity of visiting the wonders of Akamas Peninsula and swim in the crystal clear waters of the famous blue lagoon. As well as enjoying the fun of Waterskiing, Wakeboarding, Tube riding and other great Watersports for the most adventurists... From the beginning of our operations the main objective was always the safety of our customers, and therefore we managed to build a great reputation on serving quality and difference.

George’s Watersports is seeking to employ trainees/seasonal workers for this season (or longer) to cope with the busy business times of mid- June, July, August to mid-September. (Or for the whole season of May to October)

The competition increasing in this kind of business, we are looking for sales person with good energy, strong motivation and fun character: able to work as part of a team and under pressure. 


Sales Assistant

The Sales assistant position consists in promoting our boat rental services to the tourists. The candidates will attract tourists on site and pitch them on the activities we have to offer, presenting our boats and other activities in order to sell bookings through the season.

The candidate will also help to clean and tidy the equipment’s and gives instructions to the customers regarding our other activities and safety measures.


Administration Assistant 

The Administration Assistant position consists in promoting our boat rental services to the tourists mainly at our shop.

The candidates will pitch clients on the activities we have to offer, presenting our boats and other activities in order to sale booking all through the season. The candidates will also update our database of clients, sales reports, handle email and online booking. The successful candidate will also update our social media by creating attractive posts and answering comments from customers or future clients.

The candidate will also help to maintain cleanliness and tidiness of our shop.


Professional skills and requirements:

  • Experience in Sales
  • Good level in English, any other languages is a plus (such as Russian, French, German and Hebrew)
  • Healthy and fit, Sport orientated person, experience in Watersports, Boating or Sailing is a plus (but not a must)
  • Motivated, Able to work under pressure and an excellent team player.
  • Fast learner and Pro-Active person, with fun and smiling attitude.
