You could be helping with “environmental management” activities (e.g. helping to protect the American crocodile species at a crocodile sanctuary where they are kept safe from hunters/poachers and where visitors and the general public can learn about their behaviour and how to live in harmony with them.

Volunteer activities would include: monitoring of the health of the crocodiles ecosystem, counting the number of individuals, assisting in feeding the crocodiles and cleaning the areas in which they are in temporary captivity, taking photographs of the habitat, designing tourist/visitor signs and information, carrying out research, taking samples, preparing reports etc); teaching English to University students; promoting intercultural exchange through facilitating various workshops with the Mexican Universitystudents in exchange for having language classes and learning / improving your Spanish skills etc.
