With the vision to create unique summer experiences for boys and girls from around the world, Canadian Adventure Camp is rich in tradition and is recognized as one of Canada’s finest children’s sleepaway summer camps.

Year after year, campers attend Canadian Adventure Camp to experience a summer of building character, learning new skills and creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Our goal every summer is to help young people grow into responsible, well-rounded citizens by expanding their skills and knowledge within the fun and friendship of a warm camp atmosphere. At the end of their camp experience we want campers to leave not only with fond memories and firm friendships, but also a variety of valuable life skills to lay the ground work for their future.

By providing a strong character building atmosphere where campers develop the capacity to set and work towards personal goals, we help them to gain an increased sense of confidence, a ‘can-do’ attitude, improved social skills and the ability to live successfully with others.

Staff

Head Coaches

Our Gymnastics, Trampoline, Water Ski and Wake Board programs use fully qualified and specially selected international, national and top Ontario coaches.

Coaches are chosen for their ability to organize a quality training program that not only allows campers to learn, grow and develop at a rate within their capability, but can also make it a happy and fun experience!

Counsellors

Each counsellor lives in a cabin with their campers, even observing the same bedtime as the cabin group!

Counsellors are very carefully selected for their ability to work with children, most of them are university trained and all of them have a multitude of program qualifications along with lifesaving and first aid.

All counsellors participate in our own stringent C.A.C. training programs each Spring.

With a minimum hiring age of 19 years, the average age for our counselling staff is 22 years and our overall camper to staff ratio is better than three to one.
