Matilda Bryce, who worked as a ski instructor in Whistler this season, has made her way down through the States to New York, using money saved from her work and making the most of being on the other side of the world. This has led to an experience of a lifetime: being in New York at the time when Bin Laden has been found, and the city is in celebration mode.

Meanwhile, a whole bunch of our Whistler workers have made their merry way to Hawaii, where surfing lessons, amazing temperatures and beautiful sites are awaiting them.

Other Oyster participants are making the most of their time post ski season. After working coaching skiing to kids in Whistler, working in hospitality in Tremblant and catering in the Rockies, many others have taken their hard earned cash and used it to explore Canada and the States.

Working a Canadian ski season is a great way to earn some money, live abroad and fund your travels. You can start off your travels with an amazing 5 to 6 months living and working in one of Canada’s best resorts- skiing throughout the season and getting paid for working there and then follow up with some traveling- to where?
