Spanish Language Courses in Central America

Travel to Central America and learn Spanish in Costa Rica with Projects Abroad. Violet Alvarez took part in Projects-Abroad Spanish language course. This meant that in the mornings she would teach English in the classroom like other teaching volunteers and in the afternoon would learn Spanish herself to get up to speed on her language skills.

She recalls that "in the mornings I would help out in the school, and then in the afternoons I would have my Spanish lessons. My teacher was a beautiful young woman called Carolina who works incredibly hard at Liberia's local school during the day teaching English, and at night stays up studying and writing essay after essay so as to get her degree in English."
