WAVA have two new volunteering programmes in Northern Tanzania which, give volunteers the chance to immerse themselves in authentic community projects that provide care and education to Tanzanian children.

WAVA understand that it is the popularity of Tanzania as a holiday destination that has caused so many volunteers to start assembling there in droves. Still, WAVA say 'See More, Do More' - Tanzania provides the right blend of everything you could possibly ask for in a volunteering / 'holidaying' experience - stunning landscapes (including Mt. Kilimanjaro), diverse communities, and responsible volunteering projects.

Working with children in Africa is both demanding and rewarding - and it is an experience that so many of our volunteers cherish. Both these new projects in Tanzania benefit greatly from the presence of volunteers, who as well as working with children, also work alongside the local staff/teachers helping them with the daily operational running of the schools and nurseries.

Volunteers in Tanzania are desperately needed to bring professionalism, real life experiences and enthusiasm to the community projects. They will impact the lives of the children, but also change their own lives - seeing and doing things differently.
