Flood Recovery Volunteer Projects in Australia

AUSTRALIA FLOOD RECOVERY NEEDS YOU! Projects from 2 to 8 weeks. You can choose from a wide range of locations and stay for as little as two weeks. Experience the Great outdoors - Aussie-style in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria...

The effects of the devastating floods earlier this year are still being felt across Australia and your help is needed to help get things back on track! Real Gap's Conservation Volunteers Australia programme has teamed up with flood recovery programmes to provide much-needed assistance across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

You can get stuck in with a range of activities including planting trees, clearing debris, restoring fences and walking tracks, taming wild weeds in the depths of the outback or revitalising greenery in urban areas. There are literally loads of projects to get involved in. Volunteers are needed to just get stuck in and help with anything that the recovery requires. More specific information on your daily tasks will be provided on arrival but you can be rest assured that they will involve whatever is most needed at that time.

Whatsmore, if you book 4 weeks or more you'll get an extra week FREE of charge and Real Gap will donate £100 to the project. For those who book for less than 4 weeks Real Gap will donate £50, which means you’ll be helping out before you even get there, no matter how long you book for!

All donations will be used to help deliver flood recovery projects identified by Regional Catchment Authorities and will comply with the Australian Government’s ‘Caring For Our Country’ conservation criteria.

To sign up, either call one of Real Gap's expert travel advisors and let them know you're interested in our Conservation Volunteers Australia programme or book online now www.realgap.co.uk!
