NGO Volunteer Projects in Tanzania, Africa

Maasai International Challenge Africa organize language, culture and volunteer work stays in Tanzania in collaboration with local NGOs. Volunteering is a unique way to discover a country, its culture and people while doing a meaningful job. You must be at least 18 years old, independent, outgoing and have a sincere desire to do volunteer work. Participants come from many different countries.

Volunteer work options include:

MICATZ also facilitates opportunities for individuals, students, groups and gap-year students. Adventure holidays, wildlife programs, language and cultural experience programs such as Swahili Language Study Abroad are also offered. The month-long orientation includes intensive language study.

In the morning help with breakfast and prepare the children for school. Volunteers accompany the children to and from school and Teach English 3-4 hours a day in the local school.
