In their free time they have done lots of visiting, travelling and making the most of their time in Tanzania, with walks to local waterfalls and lakes, embarking on safari and climbing Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.

A major highlight of this placement is the school holidays at this time of year- and the incredible travelling opportunities that this offers. Many volunteers jump at the opportunity to explore Zanzibar, an island in the Indian Ocean just off Tanzania. This photo was taken here when Andy and other volunteers set off for the island for a few days holiday.
