An Interview with Anelya Krasnova. An A-level student from Russia

What is the best thing you've done here so far?
I’m sure the best thing I’ve done since living here is becoming a member of the Oxford Union Society. It is extremely interesting if you like debating over controversial issues; you will meet lots of new people and see some very famous speakers from all over the world.

Why did you want to study in Oxford?
I’ve chosen Oxford over other cities because I was looking for a university town. You see students everywhere: reading books in cafés, studying in parks on a sunny day, queuing in shops with books in their hands.

What is your favourite subject, and why?
To be honest, I love all of my subjects; I do Latin, Philosophy, Politics and English Literature. I still cannot figure out which of these is my favourite one!

What do you want to do after your A Levels?
I want to go to University in the UK and study Politics and Philosophy.
