Surrounding the fabled Kruger National Park are some of the best known private safari reserves and camps in Africa, such as the Sabi Sand game reserve, which is home to lodges such as Mala Mala, Singita, Londolozi, Leopard Hills, Ulusaba and Sabi Sabi.

Also in the Kruger region are Timbavati and Manyeleti, which also border Kruger, allowing animals to migrate freely through this magnificent wilderness. Many safari travellers incorporate a few days in Cape Town or the Garden Route after a safari - both areas providing the perfect wind-down to an exhilarating time out in the wilds.

Officially declared in June 2007, Mokala is South Africa’s newest national park. Just 80kms southwest of Kimberley by tar road, it is also one of the most accessible in the Northern Cape.
