MondoChallenge was established in 2001 with the objective of promoting sustainable development in local communities.

Over the years, MondoChallege have sent more than 1000 career break volunteers to projects across the globe. From teaching to HIV awareness, Community development, to business advice, MondoChallenge career break volunteers have contributed their bit to the world.

Volunteers come from various age categories. The largest group is individuals on a 'career break'. They tend to be age 25-45, maybe taking a sabbatical or are in between jobs and incorporating volunteering into a wider travel experience.

Types of Voluntary projects

Voluntary work opportunities are spread across the globe in Asia, Africa, South America and Eastern Europe. MondoChallenge offer a wide range of volunteering placements in Teaching, Childcare & Orphanage Work, Health care, Business Support, Livelihoods and Community development. All voluntary projects are identified based on their need and their ability to benefit from the volunteers. The work done by MondoChallenge volunteers helps them become sustainable and benfit thousands of people in the local communities.
