Tiger Conservation Projects

Tiger Conservation Projects

Wildlife experts and global leaders from 13 worldwide countries recently met at a summit in Saint Petersburg, Russia to discuss ways to help save tigers from extinction.

According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), there are now less tan 3,300 wild tigers left in the world, compared to over 100,000 only a century ago.

In the current "Year of the Tiger" you can play a small part in helping to bring these great animals back from the brink of extinction. Volunteer and help preserve tigers and other endangered animals including lions, leopards and other big cat wildlife on conservation projects around the world.

When volunteering on animal conservation programmes tasks can include working at wildlife sanctuarys, tracking animals, game capturing / relocating, preparing food, maintenance / poaching prevention, community education and awareness. Make a real impact and gain real hands on work experience getting up close and personal with these beautiful creatures today!
