Beautiful Goa in India is the location of our Conservation wildlife sanctuary. The goal of the project is to maintain and care for a sustainable environment for many endangered species. You will work on the conservation project with the reservation's rangers and other international volunteers.

Conservation volunteering is beneficial for the improvement of wildlife research and data collection, basic care for rescued animals and also is useful in alerting the locals and tourists to environmental and animal friendly practices.

This environment conservation programme is located in southern Goa India. The team is run by the head ranger and his staff, as well as the volunteers. The sanctuary is also home for some local tribal families and a wide range of endangered species, including panthers and leopards. In order to preserve the biodiversity, the sanctuary shelters and heals sick animals until they are ready again to go back to the wild.

Duration

The duration of the project is in four weeks blocks (4, 8 or 12 weeks).

Requirements

Minimum age: 18
You do not need any formal training or experience to participate but whatever experience you do have will be taken into account when arranging your day-to-day activities
Volunteers need to be independent, enthusiastic, adaptable and hard working with an open-minded attitude and sense of humour
