Language Assistant Spain

General Info

Language Assistant Spain is a cultural exchange programme, where you live with a host family and in exchange for your own room and three meals a day, you help the family, usually the kids, with their English studies for around 15 hours during the week. In general, the families are quite affluent; you're looked after very well in lovely family homes (pictured), many with swimming pools.

Requirements:

Minimum age 18 yrs.

Formal teaching qualifications are not necessary, but any experience will strengthen your application.

You are not required to speak Spanish but this is the perfect chance to learn.

Please understand that your admittance onto the Language Assistant Spain programme ultimately depends on you being accepted by a Spanish host family.

We accept all applicants for our Language Assistant programmes. However, please be aware that many host families prefer native English speakers* (i.e. those from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand)
