Gibbon Rehabilitation Volunteer Projects in Thailand

The Gibbon Rehabilitation Project is a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with our hairy cousins.

General Info

The Gibbons Rehabilitation programme is an excellent chance to gain an insight into the lives of these amazing simians. As a volunteer on the programme, you will be assisting the wardens in the gibbons everyday care and rehabilitation and also helping with educational programs to advise tourists and locals understand how Gibbons in their rainforest habitats are affected by the modern world. The project is in place to reduce poaching and deforestation and works in tandem with the conservation movement in Thailand.

Please check WAVA's website for full details about this programme.
