Volunteer Work at Orphanage Kathmandu Nepal

General Info

Nepal is an enchanting land of splendid beauty, blessed with very friendly and hospitable people. It’s cities, especially capital, Kathmandu is abound with innocent children with cherubic faces, living in extreme poverty.

Volunteers working in the Orphanage Work Program in Nepal will render invaluable help by, giving love and affection to the children, act as an older sibling to the children, teaching them basic conversational English, helping them in their school subjects, guiding them about personal hygiene and sanitation, taking them out on small excursions and engaging them in extracurricular activities and doing administrative work with the Orphanage staff.

Volunteering Solutions in association with Save Lives Foundation in Kathmandu, Nepal have started to run and manage its own orphanage which currently houses 12 children aged between 4-12 years. This is also one of the placements where the volunteers work while in the orphanage project in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Language & Orientation Week in Kathmandu
You have the option to start your volunteering with a week long language & culture orientation week in Kathmandu. (Starts 1st and 3rd Monday of every month) .The week aims to provide important Language instructions, safety tips, and cultural knowledge before volunteers start their work. Volunteers would also be given a 2 day tour around Kathmandu to see the beautiful sights it has to offer.
