Volunteer Teaching English in Nairobi and Mombasa, Kenya

Volunteers on the teaching program in Kenya assist with the teaching of different subjects in Kenyan elementary and high schools.

General Info

Volunteers also work in community schools and orphanage schools. Volunteer teachers can teach English, mathematics, science, geography, social sciences, history, physical education, art and music.
Please note that Kenyan school holidays are in April, August and Nov end - Dec. No school teaching will be available during that period. During this period volunteers can teach in Orphan schools.
In this program, volunteers teach the classes on their own or assist the current staff and teachers.

Note: Volunteers do not need to be a qualified teacher to join this program

Program Requirements
Volunteers must be 17 years or older at the beginning of the program. Volunteers need to have an open mind and flexible attitude for working in a new and different environment. The volunteer should bring energy and enthusiasm to make a difference.

Project Location
Volunteer Projects are located in Nairobi (and its suburbs of Kibera, Kawangware ,Riruta & Kikuyu).
