These 3 week programs are an exciting way to experience a new country and getting to help rewarding projects whilst also getting to travel and see more of this country. Volunteer options include helping street children and teaching at schools. No previous volunteer / teaching experience is required and you will be given training and support with experience staff. You will not be volunteer solo either, these are group trips so you will be meeting and working with people from all over the world.
You will volunteer during the week working around 5 hours a day, tasks involve leading educational lessons or playing games to keep the children busy during their day. You might be working as part of development teams help at shelters run by local NGO's which care for street children. No specific skills are required to take part, you'll just need to be energetic and share your care and affection with the children.
Its not all work, there will be lots of time to travel and you can join excursions to see more of the capital city of New Delhi or head to other popular tourist destinations like Agra and Jaipur and the famous Golden Triangle.
