They Run all year round and we slot volunteers into places as and when they become available – book early to avoid disappointment, particularly if you want to stay for only 4-6 weeks during the college/university summer holidays ( June-Aug).

We offer a diverse range of projects that will ensure all volunteers will not only have a fun time here in paradise, but will know their help will make a positive contribution to the islands they are working on. The opportunity to become part of a small island community is a unique and unforgettable experience!
No matter what project you choose, remember, the Maldives is 99% water! The stunning turquoise Indian Ocean will always be just a short distance away, and there will be plenty of opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, and visiting other islands.

Volunteers will live within the local community in basic home stay accommodation, or specific volunteer houses. Same sex volunteers may be required to share a room, which will always have a ceiling fan, and attached bathroom.

Some of our project islands are close to Tourist Resorts, where we have been able to obtain special permission for our volunteers to visit and use the facilities at special rates. Other islands in the more remote and unspoiled Atolls have nature’s bounty as their playground with stunning uninhabited islands and sandbanks! We’ll guide you through each step, and listen carefully to what you would like to gain from your volunteer experience – it can be a big step for some people, but we’ll talk you through any anxieties you may have and match you to the island that suits you best taking into consideration your personality and skills.
