This is your opportunity to get involved in game reserve and wildlife management working alongside top conservationists and animals including Africa's magnificant Big Five species.

You'll find your experience stimulating, challenging and an exceptional learning experience, that most people only dream of.

Activities that you may get involved in include;

* Elephant impact monitoring
* Game counts
* Hyena tracking
* Lion prey selection monitoring
* Age and sex ratio recordings of species such as Giraffe and Eland
* Alien vegetation control
* Reserve clean-up operations
* Road Maintenance and repairing river crossings
* Parasite control
* Building of nesting structures
* Birds in reserves project
* White Rhino monitoring
* Fire management
* Bush walks, Game drives, Night drives
* Coastal systems ecology
* Field skills and survival
* Camping out in the bush

Game Capture and Introduction - Our 2007 volunteers had the amazing once in a lifetime opportunity to assist with the capture of Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Hyena, Giraffe, Wilderbeast, Zebra and Impala.

The reserve has recently acquired more land, that will be stocked with various different African Mammal species......and they need your help to do this.

You will also have the opportunity to assist in a local, rural farm school once a week. This can be in the form of teaching basic English and Maths, sports lessons and upgrading of the school's facilities.
