Dive Courses

With a diverse and fascinating underwater world just waiting to be uncovered, here is the range of courses offered by Universal Diver catering for everyone, from budding enthusiasts to seasoned diving veterans.

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, your certified instructor will take you through the basics of scuba diving, consisting of five theory sessions, five confined water dives and finally, four open water dives. At the end of the course, you will receive your PADI Open Water Diver certification, opening the door to a whole new world, with many fabulous destinations, exciting escapades and interesting people awaiting you.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
More experienced divers can take their experience a step further with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. With a prerequisite of having completed your PADI Open Water Diver course beforehand, this course consists of five Adventure Dives comprising of compulsory deep and underwater navigation dives, as well as a choice of any three other Adventure Dives which can include wreck diving, search and recovery, underwater photography diving and night diving.

PADI Rescue Diver
Divers looking for more of a challenge can also take the PADI Rescue Diver course, which trains divers advanced techniques to spot and prevent diving problems, and if necessary, manage any emergencies which may arise. This intensive course covers a wide variety of scenarios that can arise in the process of diving and even entails an Emergency First Response course which teaches CPR and other first aid techniques, giving participants the knowledge and confidence to react promptly and properly in case of unforeseen circumstances.

PADI Divemaster
Lastly, divers who are certified up to Rescue Diver can apply for PADI Divemaster course, taking their first step into being a PADI professional. Working closely with a PADI instructor, divers hone their skills to a professional level, through a combination of classes on diving theory to practical diving exercises.
