As part of this experience, you will live with the staff and help out where required. You can participate in the day-to-day operations of the centre including cleaning of animal holdings, feeding animals, cleaning animal exhibits, among others including relaxation and participating in many sport activities.

If you are interested in working with animals, we have a list of mandatory vaccinations and health checks that are required. These include Hepatitis A and B, meningitis (menomune vaccine, covering A, C, W and Y strains), polio, measles, tetanus, yellow fever and a TB test (done within a period of six months) with a negative result.

This programme has been developed in order to help support the continuing and growing needs of the animals we keep as well as community development. Your involvement in this unique experience contributes greatly to the animals' on-going and long-term care and welfare.
