General Info
What do volunteers do?
Volunteers work in centers and orphanages for children with a range of disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome and birth defects related to Agent Orange exposure. Volunteers work four to five hours a day. They assist the local staff in providing the children special education and therapy to treat behavioral, developmental, emotional, physical and social disorders. Volunteers must employ different approaches to match the capabilities and needs of each child, and they are encouraged to share new ideas with the local staff.
