Travex has 3 positions open as a ‘driver/tour-guide’. We are looking for responsible people who will be in charge of the safety and organizational aspects of our clients' day or half-day tours with us.

Needless to say you are a ‘peoples person’, like interacting with people and you have a commercial side to you.

Housing is provided, as is a formal contract, health insurance, a proper base salary and paid overtime.

In return; you take your role seriously, and have at least two years of industry or related experience. You are a responsible person, with both feet on the ground.

You'll be at the wheel of a Mercedes Benz Vito, in possession of a valid driver's license and you have no problem driving a vehicle of this size.

We ask you to fly in 2 weeks before you start working so that you can get comfortable with our private tours by yourself (and our sales staff) so you can offer your clients correct and honest advice.

What else do you bring to the table?

  • You have experience and or interest of the travel industry and are passionate about it
  • You are eager to learn, optimistic and can work well together in a team
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of at least one or two other languages is a big plus
  • Next to English we are looking for French, German, Polish and or Dutch speakers.

Age is not important, the way you present yourself is. We are looking for enthusiastic people irrespective of their age, if you are responsible and with a proper work ethic, we want you to join our team for years to come.

When we enter into an agreement, we ask you to send us a copy of your ticket in order for us to confirm your employment. When the season is over, we will pay for your return ticket and invite you for the upcoming season.

If you are planning for seasonal work in Greece you need energy and enthusiasm! These jobs can be, on some days, a little tiring but are a lot of fun, and at the same time one of the best experiences you will ever encounter.

During low season you can expect to work for 5-6 days per week but during peak season you can expect to work around 6-7 days. May, June, September and October are more relaxed, July and August are busiest.

If you drive evening tours after a day tour you are paid extra, and needless to say the generous tips are all yours if you are good at your job!

Please send us your current resume with a few recent photo’s, your past work experience, your linguistic skills and a motivational letter. Only serious and complete applications sent to us by email are taken into consideration.
