Transfrontier Africa offer you the chance to volunteer with wildlife and on conservation programs in South Africa at the amazing Greater Kruger Park.

If you are looking to travel to Southern Africa and love wildlife you should think about joining these programs. Transfrontier Africa have been placing volunteers for a number of years and you can really make a difference on these programs. You will get to experience a new country and a new environment whilst getting up and close to exotic wild animals.

You will live in a rural bush camp in the Balule Nature reserve where you will be able to help conservation efforts and also get to see wild animals in their natural habitat. You'll be working with local staff and other international volunteers and also there will be lots of time to travel and go on safaris in countries like Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi and Zambia.

Stay away. Terrible place

Indeed this place could have potential yet it is failing in every aspect due to its poor management by its head director, the abusive Craig Spencer. The man is a charlatan, pretending to be a decorated soldier, a scientist, (walking around with a pipe in his mouth as if to give himself credibility). He abuses women, particularly those who invested in him. He takes all your money and cant even provide decent conditions for his volunteers. We ran away after 4 days where we were poisoned by what we ate and drank in this filthy place. Craig Spencer is an abusive, racist, and greedy person who surrounds himself with feeble men, some armed with handguns, and with young women whom he attract with false self promoting stories. All in all we felt like we were guests at the Charley Manson family.

Warning!!! Stay away from this volunteer organization.
Transfrontier Africa is a shameful body, their camp is filthy, with bad sanitation, rotten food, dirty water containers and sometimes no water at all. I was so sick due to the bad conditions in the camp. No least I was also quite troubled by the Managing Director of the organization, a man who is calling himself Craig Spencer, (if that is indeed his real name). In fact I was so alarmed by his shady character and by the way he runs Transfrontier Africa, that I name him "The South African Charley Manson", while naming his volunteering program as "The recruit center for the Manson Family"
Stay away from this poisonous group.
