I did my TEFL certification with The Language House in Prague which I arranged through ITA and It was the best experience of my life. I learned so much in my four weeks there and the entire faculty and staff is amazing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to do their TEFL program abroad.
The Language House in Prague is tough for one but you certainly get a one on one hands on to what you’d be teaching later on. It provides the necessary steps in moving forward to teach students but they also provide you with a variety of material that you’ve worked on and extra material for future students. The people you’ll meet are incredible and are just as eager as you are to become certified and ready to work. Prague is amazing as well. The sites you’d see, the people you’d meet and transportation is absolutely bearable. You are able to get anywhere - anytime in certain circumstances. I love it and am now living here!
The Language House was an absolutely amazing experience. They give you all the tools necessary to be successful in all aspects of living abroad. The Language House also provides real, non-native speakers, for teaching practice during the course. Live, in-person experience was invaluable to me feeling ready to teach classes on my own. I was also provided with Visa help, job and housing assistance, and an amazing community of alums all over the world. I can't speak highly enough of The Language House and their knowledgeable staff!
