International volunteering in the form of a journalism programme is a great way to enhance your resume and make you stand out from the crowd

... finding newsworthy stories, attending press rounds, conducting interviews with distinguished visitors from abroad or local celebrities, or talking to everyday locals to ascertain their views on a range of subjects and then writing up and editing articles.

Other areas of work will include proof-reading and editing articles, possibly contributing to layout ideas, and just generally helping whenever and wherever your assistance is required. Volunteers also have the opportunity to get involved with the photography side of journalism.

The knowledge of computers and working in Word, Excel would be an advantage.

GBP 1090.00 for 4 weeks
