We believe students do better in a friendly, safe, learning environment. As well as expert tuition, we encourage a sociable atmosphere, and organise activities that give students a taste of English language and culture.

Living with a local host family gives our students an insight into English culture. We also run an exciting social programme of activities and trips to famous sights. While they are with us, our students make friends from all over the world. The nearby beach, one of the finest in Europe, is a popular place to get together and have fun. Or take a trip into Bournemouth, the entertainment centre for the South Coast of England.

Whatever your language level, we can help. Whatever your reason for studying – career, travel, interest or pleasure – Southbourne School of English is the place for you.
