We set up shop in 2010 to offer an alternative to the pile ‘em high sell ’em cheap surf camps. We choose original locations, we set our standards high, we hire brilliant staff and we offer so much more than just surf lessons and surf guides.

Our yoga, pranayama, meditation, therapies, cafe and music programmes are not just hastily bolted on to tick the marketing boxes, they are the Soul of Soul & Surf. And we work hard to present this all in a very down to earth way so it seems like we don’t work too hard. The result is that we‘re not really sure what to label ourselves. We’re not really a surf camp, we’re not serious enough to call ourselves a (Surf & Yoga) Retreat, or a Wellness Retreat. I guess we’re just a bunch of feel-good people who like some Soul with their Surf, or some Surf with their Soul.

We donate 1% of our annual total income to 1% For The Planet and aim to support, nurture and respect the communities in which we operate.

Jobs

We have a few seasonal positions available in India and Sri Lanka for winter. We have loads of applications for these positions so do what you can to stand out and convince us that you’re right for Soul & Surf and you get our philosophy. We’re not right for everyone so be sure to know what we’re about.  For example If you’re looking for a surf camp, party, party vibe we’re not for you.

If you’re looking to be part of a team with a great ethical philosophy and are willing to be a part of this small team and be more than just your job title, to be a team player, to be a host, to be part of the overall quality control, to share our core beliefs and ethos, to work hard to achieve good things and to be a thoroughly good person then we’ll stick with you in the long term, help you to grow your role and train you to achieve more and the benefits will grow.

Apply using the form on this page and give us a quick overview paragraph or two with the reasons why you’d be a good fit for Soul & Surf in particular demonstrating a good understanding of us, our ethos and our background, plus your CV and salary expectations. If you don’t put all this lot together for us we’ll have to presume you’re not really serious about the position.
