General Info

The work is very direct and hands on - saving turtles from being killed, preventing the loss of nests and protecting habitat. You will see immediate results from your work.
You could participate in:
★ Patrolling beaches, collecting data and protecting nesting turtles
★ Research projects
★ Taking visitors on educational walks
★ Beach cleaning
★ Collecting eggs for removal to the hatchery
★ Working in the hatchery
★ Releasing hatchlings
★ Organising events and educational/outreach activity
★ Providing information to visitors
