Located on the Khao Tao temple grounds just outside of Hua Hin, Rescue Paws coordinates & conducts sterilizations, vaccinations, parasite treatments, veterinary care and rehabilitation for abandoned, mistreated and abused stray dogs and cats.

Our organization is operated by a small team of full-time staff and a group of volunteers who carry out day-to-day activities.  While some volunteers are trained animal care specialists, volunteer vets and vet students, others are inexperienced but passionate animal lovers seeking a unique travel-abroad experience. From these premises we coordinate and conduct sterilizations, vaccinations, parasite treatment, veterinary care and rehabilitation for abandoned, mistreated  stray animals  and venture out to the surrounding villages to perform fieldwork.

Rescue Paws also facilitates local and international adoptions;  encourages and promotes respect for animals, animal care and animal welfare through comprehensive educational campaigns in local communities and schools;  fosters local & global civic engagement by actively engaging volunteers from all across the world and developing local stakeholder participation. Our facilities include a clinic for surgeries and treatments and 12 kennels. We are located on the Khao Tao beach where volunteers walk the dogs and swim in the ocean for hydrotherapy.

Accomodation is located just around the corner from the clinic and a mere 150 meter walk to the beautiful Sai Noi beach. Those who know the area consider Sai Noi beach as one of the most beautiful beaches in the area with an amazing view just a short hike up the rocks to a large golden Buddha and a view of the beach. At the house, volunteers have access to 3 bathrooms with hot water showers, a western style toilet, and a washing machine. Depending on the number of volunteers at the time, you may be sharing a bedroom. We also offer kitchen appliances such as a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, and an outdoor gas cooker.
