After soaking up the Latino spirit and stunning scenery of Alajuela you’ll travel on to your chosen location; either Palmares or San Ramón. You’ll be living with a local family whilst at your project, so there’ll be plenty of time to sample the local delicacies and practice your Spanish.

You will generally be at the project between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, with weekends free to explore. As a volunteer your role will be to give the youngsters some much needed love and attention helping out with daily tasks such as care and feeding, as well as assisting the teachers during lessons.

Benefits:

Prices range depending on activity and duration. Volunteering starts from £389 for 2 weeks, Adventure Travel starts from £799 for 2 weeks and our Paid Work options start from £299 for up to 12 months. Requirements:

There are no specific qualifications or requirements needed to take part on this trip. We do however require that all travellers have a sense responsibility for other travellers, project staff and local community and most importantly... a sense of fun and adventure!
