PMGY offers 2-week to 3-month volunteering opportunities in the capital of Quito at an altitude of 2,850m above sea level. PMGY’s Childcare volunteers programme in Ecuador brightens up the lives of young children making an important contribution to their daily lives. PMGY Volunteers work with a number of day care centres across Quito to provide project support within the Quito community. Volunteers could be placed at either of these settings when signing up to the childcare programme.
Programme Fees to volunteer in Ecuador start as low as £330 for a two-week placement. Included within this fee is:
1st & 3rd Sunday of every month
- Be at least 18 on your programme start date
- Provide us with a clean criminal background check
- The ability to speak fluent English
- The ability to speak basic to intermediate Spanish
