Pina Palmera

General Info

Piña Palmera is an non-government organisation that works with people with disabilities at the south coast of Oaxaca, Mexico.

Piña Palmera is looking for volunteers who can stay for 6 months, and are prepared to help out in all the different areas of the centre, that is not only in the direct work with people with disabilities but also in kitchen, cleaning, maintanance work, etc.

Volunteers should be at least 20 years old and don't necesarily need experience in the field of disability. At any one time there are about 15 places for volunteers and if given enough anticipacion places can be reserved. Shared accomodation and 3 simple meals a day are provided in exchange for a contribution of 150 US$ per month.
