A free volunteering project with animals for 2+ months, lodging (not food) included.
We have a number of different positions and ways you can help.
Volunteers commit about 5 hours of work per day, feeding, watering, keeping the catteries clean, and of course playing with the animals!
Free lodging is provided, and dockside pick-up is available with prior scheduling.
Volunteers should be mature, prepared and self-sufficient, as the Sanctuary's priority is caring for the animals. Madi, owner and director, is onsite 24/7 to answer questions and assist issues to a reasonable degree.
Outside of the work, volunteers are free to explore the tropical island and its activities, such as diving, snorkeling, swimming, and adventure tours operated from the island. Lodging is in dorm-style accommodation.
