Employment

Paradise Point is seeking responsible and caring leaders who live enthusiastically and care deeply about building relationships with others. We are looking for staff members who want to impact the lives of children positively and who understand the importance of their position in a child's development. It is important for the staff to have the ability to communicate honestly and openly, to stay positive when challenged, to problem solve creatively and to participate energetically. Working at camp is demanding and staff members need to know how to stay balanced and how to deal with stress. Paradise Point looks for staff members who enjoy having fun and who inspire others to do the same.

All applicants must be at least 18 years old by June 18, 2017 and are required to attend staff training. The youth camp season runs from June through the beginning of August, with some staff members that stay on through the end of September. All staff will be certified in American Red Cross CPR and First Aid (a training course is provided during staff training). This certification course will be offered at no cost to you. If you are interested in lifeguarding and do not currently have a lifeguard certification, we will hold a Lifeguard certification course during staff training as well. Certified lifeguards are paid a higher weekly rate and the training is incredibly valuable.

Volunteering

Volunteers are an incredibly integral part of Paradise Point. The enthusiasm and energy they bring to camp creates a fun and spiritually complete environment for the campers and staff. Volunteering at Paradise Point is not only an opportunity to spend some relaxing time at camp, but also to serve the church and spend time with the youth of the Diocese. We truly appreciate all of the volunteers that come to camp to share their spirit and dedicate their time to Paradise Point.
