Situated in the Rift Valley in Tanzania, this is a really immersive programme. Volunteer at an incredible village, providing a permanent home for nearly 100 children.

Spend time in Tanzania - home to the big 5 and fantastic people! This programme is an incredible opportunity to learn about Tanzanian culture first hand.

You will be volunteering with children living at the village that provides accommodation, food, education and a loving family for nearly 100 local children. What is incredibly special about this programme is that the village is a permanent home for the children that live there. There are a team of hard-working volunteers and staff that look after the children full time.

You will be working 6 days a week, helping to organise fun, educational activities and offering childcare and support. This is a thoroughly rewarding programme and you will feel instantly at home. The team fully appreciate your help and volunteers often form life-long friendships.

Volunteers live in accommodation in the village. There is a separate area for volunteers to relax in the evening. The facilities are comfortable and there is access to a western style bathroom. On Sunday, you will get to explore the local area. Many volunteers head to local safari lodges - a fantastic way to spend your day off. You can also head in to Karatu to shop or go for lunch.
