Professor James Basker designed these programs for students in grades 7-12 with the goal of giving them the opportunity to live and study in historic centers of learning.

Today we offer programs in England, France, Spain, and the United States. Students choose two subjects in which to immerse themselves - a major and a minor - from a range of over 200 courses.

Popular options include Medicine, Law, Business, and Psychology.

Unique Summer Experiences

Oxbridge Academic Programs has been offering summer study opportunities to adventurous students in grades 7-12 for over 30 years. We are based in some of the world's best universities, and in historically and culturally significant cities across England, France, Spain, and the United States. You can choose two subjects - a major and a minor - from a range of more than 200 subjects. Outside of class, there are a huge number of elective extra-curricular activities on every program, as well as guest speakers, workshops, and field-trips. Wherever you go with us, you can build your own unique summer experience.

About Oxbridge

Our courses use the city like a classroom, taking full advantage of the local museums, historical sites, laboratories, and local experts available. You will get a full pre-college experience by living in the same spaces as undergraduates during the year. During your free time, you can explore a new city and make friends with peers from across the world. Whether your dream is to study Medicine at Oxford, improve your French or Spanish, or make a film in Los Angeles, we have a program for you!

Courses

We offer over 200 courses, many of which aren’t available in school, and all of which are taught by university experts and industry professionals.

On our four-week programs in Oxford, France, Spain, New York and Los Angeles , students choose two subjects, a Major and a Minor in Oxford and Europe; a Major and a Workshop in the US. The Major meets for three-and-a-half hours, six mornings per week. The Minor and the Workshop meet for two hours, three afternoons per week.

On our programs in Cambridge and Boston , students can choose to enroll for 2- or 4-weeks, depending on their schedules. They choose one subject per 2-week session. Classes take place six mornings and three afternoons a week.

On our one-week summer programs, students choose one major subject per week. On our one-week spring programs, students choose one major subject, and undertake a wide range of social, experiential, and academic extracurricular activities every afternoon.
