Info

Volunteer in Tanzania and teach English, Math or Sciences in local schools. Teach in a Maasai village, teach in the Pare Mountains during your career break abroad.

MondoChallenge offers fantastic teaching opportunities in Tanzania. These are some our various volunteer projects based in Tanzania:

You can teach children in the Maasai area north of Arusha, in sight of Mt. Kilimanjaro! There is plenty of walking and hiking available in gorgeous countryside close to Mt Longido in the African plains.

Volunteers also have the opportunity to teach to children and possibly adults on the slopes of Mt Meru, Tanzania's second highest mountain, just north of Arusha.

MondoChallenge offers the possibility to teach children at primary and secondary level as well as women in a local pottery business. These projects are based up in the Pare Mountains at 1700m above sea level with beautiful views across into Kenya.

Tanzania offers fantastic travel opportunities: do a safari in some of the most famous national parks, relax on heavenly beaches on Zanzibar Island, trek on Mount Kilimanjaro...
