Our MondoChallenge childcare projects are perfect for those who want to use their career break volunteering with children. In developing countries there are a lot of orphaned children who live in shelters or orphanages with little or no care. As a volunteer, your role will be to work with them and bring some joy to their lives.

Volunteers can either work in care homes or orphanages providing extra resource to care for the children. Working with children is an opportunity to make a difference in their lives, by running activities, English lessons or if you have some medical experience, health care support is always welcome. These are very rewarding projects, during which you will see a significant improvement in their lives thanks to the help of the volunteers.

MondoChallenge offers childcare volunteering projects in India (with children from the slums, disabled kids...), Tanzania, Ecuador and Romania (in orphanages).
