We work closesly with the women, children and young adults of Villa del Sol, to provide educational opportunities of empowerment and inspiration.

We are a grassroots, not for profit surf school and community outreach centre in the south of Mexico.

We were created as an extension of Mision Mexico - our children's refuge in Tapachula, Chiapas - home to 24 children all of whom have been abused, neglected, orphaned or abandoned.

Surfing has always been at the heart of Mision Mexico, using the sport as a way to teach these children that with hard work and dedication, they can forget their traumatic pasts, and have better and brighter futures.

Mision Surf Mexico works to deliver Mision Mexico's message of love, life and hope to the children and young adults of Villa del Sol. These families live in extreme poverty, and come to us for educational and cultural opportunities they otherwise would never have.

With free community classes in Swimming, Surfing and English -  we have created a safe environment where the children and young adults can come, have fun and learn away from the dangers of the streets.
