Medforce is a specialist provider of medical electives and overseas medical placements for nurses and doctors.

Medforce grew from the demand of its parent company Trekforce that requires medics and doctors for its extreme trekking expeditions and jungle construction projects. While Greenforce, the UK's leading not for profit volunteer organisation has an increasing request for medical assistance from within the communities that Greenforce helps. Medforce, Trekforce and Greenforce are all part of the Gapforce family.

Many of these remote regions that Greenforce operates in have little or no access to medical care. They urgently require volunteer medical assistance. Therefore, by combining the requirements of Greenforce and its local community programmes along with Trekforce’s gap expeditions, Medforce was created.

Medforce has since grown, taking on advice from both doctors and medical staff along with lecturers at UK‘s leading medical universities. Medforce is now established as one of the leading providers of effective medical electives.

The increasing number of demands for medical staff from our own expeditions combined with the increasing request from local communities for medical help, means we may not have all our options on this site. So if you seek a specialised elective please do not hesitate to contact us direct.
