Designed for the gap year and career break student, Life Skills in SA is combining a variety of skills chosen to benefit both the volunteer and the local institution/s in a synergy of mutual gain.

Working to uplift the local communities through exposure to you the participant and your customs, expertise, knowledge and selfless desire to help our communities needs.

All students receive certificates for the respective courses and projects completed. Example Ingwe Outdoor facilitators, St John?s First Aid, and our Life Skills in SA certificate which includes the skills, tasks, community programmes and the wildlife ecology course.

Our ecologist and conservationist has aligned some of the effort into helping the forgotten behind the scenes needs of foresters and their families, who live in remote areas of the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma forests. This includes sourcing teachers to live in the forest with the community on a rotational three-month basis, or longer if desired.

This is an opportunity to tutor in the much acclaimed Knysna Forest, amongst local Forest and National Park employees who can tell a story or two of the elusive Knysna Elephant that habitate this land.
