Lexis Korea: more than just a school

I studied at Lexis Korea for a time period of 6 months. During that time, I learned more than I ever thought possible. Besides learning about the language, (obviously) you learn about the history, culture and traditions! All of this is made possible by the amazing teachers and study program. Lexis Korea organizes activities outside of school so you can really get to know Korea!

I learned how to make traditional Korean food during the monthly cooking class, watched several korean movies with my classmates during movie night and even met Korean students during the monthly student night!

Lexis Korea is simply an amazing school, they might be a little expensive but you certainly won’t regret it! I can confidently say that I had an amazing time there, and I’m sure new students will too!

Lexis

I went to Lexis in the Fall of 2018. I loved the teachers and faculty! They were very accommodating and always willing to help me with anything. I met my best friends at an event Lexis held called student night. The friends I made were the ones I spent most of my time in Korea with. I still talk to them often. My main complaint about Lexis is I was not a huge fan of the way they taught Korean. It’s a fast pace program but because of that it makes the learning part rushed. The books they give you are also confusing if you are trying to study on your own. I’m thankful I went to Lexis but if I go back to Korea I want to go to a different language school that is at a slower pace.

A great experience!

I studied at Lexis Korea in Seoul for 3 weeks last summer and I couldn't be happier with my experience!
The school is right in the center of Gangnam so when I walked to school everyday I would see lots of people already starting their day and it would give me a lot of energy.
From the staff to the teachers at Lexis everyone is really kind and understanding and I know many people who became friends with their teacher and are still in touch with them after going back to their country.
Having classrooms of max 10~14 people there's always a focused but happy atmosphere. Lessons focus not only on reading and writing, but also on listening and speaking and the teachers always find a way to get even the shy students to make friends with everyone else.
Overall studying at Lexis Korea was really one of the best experiences I've had and I'm already planning on going back!
