Let Laos Learn is a must for people looking for small-scale and sustainable tourism with a high impact for the locals.

We organize our programs with a heart for the Laotians, witnessing our fundraising and schools that we have built in Laos.

At a glance ....

Let Laos Learn was founded as a Belgian non-profit in 2006. LLL is looking for funds for the construction of schools for different communities in the Vang Vieng Disctrict. Up to now, 1,200 children have attended classes in one of the schools we have built. Have a look at our project page for more information regarding our funded schools.

In 2012, Ket and Ward, a Lao-Belgian couple, established our local partner organization (called FruitFriends) in Laos with the aim of improving and expanding the quality of our projects. Ket is, as a Laotian, also director from this organization. It is here where you will volunteer

In 2018 Let Laos Learn was recognized as INGO by the Lao government. A big achievment providing us the opportunity to build or own school.

A life changing experience at Let Laos Learn

''One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world''
Volunteering at Let Laos Learn has been an amazing experience for me. With this project, you get the opportunity to teach the local children, teenagers and adults English, which really improves their chances on having a decent job later on in their lives. Teaching people something valuable can be an incredibly fulfilling adventure. In your free time, you have the possibility to explore the beauty of Vang Vieng and her surroundings. From stunning mountains and breathtaking rice paddies to mysterious caves and gorgeous waterfalls. Vang Vieng has it all ! The people I've met there will always be like a second family to me. Leaving was one of the hardest things I ever had to do.
